San Francisco, CA: 

My friend Kat spent the summer out in San Fran working at a radio station. Sounded like a cool job. Sounded like an even better excuse for me to take a vacation and see the west coast. Just as I had not ever seen the east coast - Oklahoma boy had not seen the west coast either.

So it was off to Berkeley! Where Kat had her apartment. I thought Boulder was crazy - Berkeley's got us beat.
